Hi Folks,

Heading up to Oban in the next fortnight to lure fish for pollack in the mentioned areas. Will be boat fishing from Ardmucknish bay down to the north side of Kerrera and SE shore of Lismore.

I've never fished this area before so any hints or tips regading marks, drifts or lures would be greatly appreciated.

What else should i expect to catch??

Hello there,

There is a very large wreck (the Breda- 2nd WW) in Ardmucknish Bay, it's on all the charts. It's well worth a bash lots of big pollock, cod, conger etc- unfortunately it usually has a dive boat on it as it's a very popular spot. You may loose a bit of tackle getting snagged on it - but I'm sure you'll suss it out.
