Is it possible to spin the mouth of the estury at low water ?

Havent been there at low water for a long long time so cant remember what its like.

Hi dandaman yes mate or use running ledges and maddies it fishes all the way up use small hooks aswell BUT YOU DO GET ALOT OF SUFFERS THERE mate tight lines

i tried it a few years back, with the hordes of other anglers who get the same idea. went down 3 or 4 times spinning and never had no luck, or saw anyone else catch. there were quite afew people fly fishing too.

I gave the estuary a good bashing with spinners last summer......became a bit of a challenge.....loads of people trying and blanking.. and I only ended up with one bass...but was a decent fish about 3 1/2 pound.
