Hi All,

off to give Ogmore a bash on Wed' - both ledgering and spinning - where exactly would people say is the best spot/state of tide?

Heard a few people say 3 hrs up to high is most productive - where? and for what?

Prob' gunna take Rag and sand eel with me.

Any thoughts / advice as usual most appreciated.

Hello TOG,
I thought i recognised that rod and reel combo, I was the chap talking to you this afternoon down next to the Ogmore Estuary. Did you have any luck later in the day?
I may get out down the Long Arm on Friday and give it a bash (see how the back holds out) I'll leave reports if anything good is going on.

Denzle,

hello mate - yes , missed a big slack liner about an hour after low but then it got better & better.

Took three Schoolies , best 2 3/4 lbs - all within minutes of each other , approx 75 yds out , after the third breaker. All on Rag.

Chuffed to bits first Bass ever. What a cracking fish.

I tell you what though - didnt realise how strong the sun was - I'm redder than Jerzey Dudek at half time - you could fry an egg on my head - valuable lesson learned - along with not forgetting your waders!!

All the best.
