fished ogmore gate today with my old man (roamer). had some really nice ammo sandeel and mackie for bait. ther was a bit of a swel on and the weed was a pain for a little while. the fishing was really slow up intil low water. then it started to fish a bit. cought my first ever turbot on sandeel fineshed with 4 doggys a turbot and a pin whiting.
my old man (roamer) cought 4 dogs

all in all an expensive day for not going very far.

*ice cream
*kebab on the way home.

christ mate good catch! sell the turbot to a restaurant if you can itll pay double your expenses today at least! Where is the ogmore gate? the estuary? i may go theere tomorrow, but last time i went there, i hated it, so how is it compared to porthcawl? cheers bro

ogmore gate .turn down by the mouth of the estuary drive as far as you can east park by gate and fish.
