yeah snapped the tip off the carbon metal so hoping to pick either one up cheapish ..

No idea what they are worth, but a guy I fish with occasionally uses a pair of 216's. They may be dinosaurs, but they are awesome in action. I would need two weeks in traction after using one.

I had one myself many years ago and they make an excellent backcasting rod but i used mine off the ground.

I used to have a pair of 216 sports for conger fishing... you need big hands to cast one of those... the butt took a 32mm fuji winch fitting if I remember rightly... were nice enough rods, but I prefer my Century Vectra Sports for my heavy fishing now.
