I was just wondering what you guys use to take your rod in car and stuff. I mean offcourse like what kind of sleeve or hard case you guys using.
I just bought myself a Yamaga early plus and it looks so thin!

Two neoprene rod straps one each end with the tip end strapped to the but end

If its local I use the vac rac holders with extension so rod is set up on bonnet.
Inside car I sometimes use a rod tube or just carefully throw them in and make sure no boxes can fall on them.

One of my first lure rods came with a hard rod tube with a zip on top, a couple of the most used rods live full time in that in the back of a work van with never any damage.

I'm off on the plane soon with the gear so the rods will be in 4" land drain tubes wrapped in bubble ..... fingers crossed .
