well me and the old boar went for a nice trip out to sea in thor, the only trouble with orford is the 5 mile treeak down river before going out over a dodgy bar, but good ground are close in so if the **** hits the fan then you are never far of the beach.
any way headed 2 miles from the light house on a couple of marks which looked good on the gps, i know of some closer but as the weather was good it was time to go exploring.
had the 4.5lb lunker first cast plus a 2lber , dad missed 5 bights in a row before landing a 2lber.
tide dropped so moved .5 mile to next postion which claimed another 3.5lber followed buy some doggies. then went quiet so went back to postion 1 and had another 3.5lber plus some doggies. then we had several moves but to no avail.

still learning this area but unlike some you do have to wait for the fish to get there head down and feed, as plenty of fish showing but about 6ft of the bottom but soon as fish were bighting all the fish were showing hard on the bottom.:boat:
