Hi guys I’m down Oxwich for the weekend I’ve always found the fishing from the beach shite tbh so I’m thinking of walking up the right handside rocks & fishing towards the wreck of the Solar so if anyone can offer me advice much appreciated!
How far to cast?
What to expect to catch?
Ground?
Is it safe?

Spin for small pollock and bass. Might still be some garfish around (float fish small slivers of mackerel). I have never bottom fished off the rocks but guess its possible if you dont expect to get every trace back.

Great time for gilthead bream in the dark and close to rocks.

You can always use squid bait in the gulleys with light tackle see if you could tempt a bass , or you can find some crab be worth using them , may get lucky
