I've got some frozen to take with me on my trip next Monday to wales, but i was going to buy around 20 fresh this saturday, freeze 10 and store them for use another time, and take the other 10 of them (live) on my fishing trip. I'll be fishing for four days.
With the ten fresh that i'm taking, would i be best keeping them in the fridge in a tray with seaweed until i set off monday. then when in wales, just keeping them moist with seawater? They only need last for four days?
Cheers folks

you might find that once they have been in the fridge as soon as you keep them out for a day they start to peel a lot quicker.

i fing that the slightly warmer temp in wales compared to here on the northeast they peel a lot quicker.

depends on how far they are in the peeling stage. if you can then ask the tackle dealer to give you 10 poppers and 10 that haven't quite cracked. the latter can be brought on on the way to whales.
