hi was wonudering if anyone can help can you fish penarth beach on a 12 meter tide

Hi mate, I'm not sure about 12 metres, depends which part you fish. But if you fish right on the seafront, you can move up onto the paved area and fish by the railings til the tide drops back down. Don't fish the beach with the cliffs behind you unless your 100% sure about tide heights. Tight lines, Richard

hi m8 on a 12 metre tide you can only fish the pier or off the esplanade if you need more advice pm me

if you fished the ranny or lavernock side it would be no more than a 11.4 metre tide

is a good bet on the bigger tides

Went to the barrage this morning. Conditions were excellent cold,slight breeze and sunny. Two rods both with two hook flappers at different ranges, baits were rag,mackerel and squid. Only a whiting and small codling to show for my efforts. Fished one up and two down but beat the blank. Thought after a few days of cold weather there may have been a few more whiting? Maybe the evening tides?
