No wonder the MOD don't want Pendine opened up to cars. Heard a rumour before Christmas that the MOD tested a depth charge and around 400 bass to about 4lb were washed up on the beach. Needless to say that the workers there have now got freezers full of bass. If this had happened to anyone else there would be one hell of an outcry, but because it's the MOD nothing will probably happen. It's a shame that when theres all the conservation of bass stocks going on that this happens.
