I've recently purchased a used Mag 4 and when I serviced it the star drag was very tight and removing the handle was difficult, after cleaning and serving it the star drag wouldn't move. took it apart followed the schematic to put back together and still only slight movement, any suggestions?

best advice with those reels is throw them in the bin. ive had the miss fortune to service a couple and they are rubbish.
to get anything like a decent speed on them i had to strip out all but 1 magnet and remove other bits inside.
the clicker on them is a ball ache too
