Hi newby here ,Was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem/ has any advice regarding the surfblaster 8000 i own? Out fishing tonight rare thing happened had a bite? lol Did usual things then during reeling in the reel "snapped" at the reel seat> Reel is about six months old never been dropped was on a top quality rod so at the moment not a happy bunny and to make matters worse miissed the bite didnt have a spare reel with me and had to come home Any help would be gratefully accepted thanks.

If the reel is only 6 months old take it back to the retailer you bought it from and get it replaced or your money back, first time I've heard of one snapping and perhaps you've just been unlucky.
