localfisher im not sure how the fishing is on the pier,but the deeps is due to chuck a lunker up

No cod off of Penarth pier .. I fished the competition there on Sunday and I have to say the fishing was the worst I can remember. Five hours of slinging good bait over the side for two whiting .. one of which was under size.

went to ogmore today, the worst weather i have ever been fishing in, no fish, just wet feet
