After reading the success over the weekend the lure (pardon the pun) of fresh mackerel is great.
Looking at the weather report winds look light and southerly so thought i might nip down to hythe after work for high tide for a chuck or two.

Are there any 'hot spots' or is all equal
Where is the swimming pool, is it the kids bit near the imperial/car park?

Last few trips have been more productive a couple of hours after high tide. Managed a few near high water, but they seem to be there in numbers on the lower water.

We have had them up by the boats and along by the white shelter. They are not to far out at low water either, my mate was catching and I later realised I was casting straight over the top of them.

Didn't bother pumping the rod, just a nice steady wind in.

Tight lines.
