Just bought a few new lures and was wondering if anyone had had any good catches on any of them in the colours pictured. Im especially intrested in the Ima x Duo Nabarone 125F as I haven't heard much about it, bought it because I liked the action of it on a video. The other 3 are 2 x Tackle House Feed Shallows 128F in mullet and yellow/pearl and a duo tide minnow sld 145F in smelt.

Thanks
Paul

Well the SLD-F 145 in H134 Smelt has been on of my two stand out lures of the year, caught plenty of bass (and one greedy Mackerel) on it this year. Nice quick retrieve and twitch it.
The other stand out lure has been the Feed Shallow in Mullet, I am sure MosseyDog will back me up, that those two were working down in Weymouth.
Both cast like a dream (long straight casts) as well.

As to the Ima lure, not sure, looked very irratic in the video (yeah I looked at them to) I guess you will have to let us know about that one.

Nice pics by the way,
P.s if you want a nice looking lure try the Duo 175 slim in cut-throat Pilchard. 'tis the dogs :bones:

I love Ima lures. Had a few for a while now maybe 18 months or so. I've got a Nabarone in a blue colour, and it's a lovely lure to watch wiggle but alas, it's only ever caught me Mackeral. It's supposed to be good over clean ground amongst the sand banks and gullies. It runs slightly nose down so it's good for bottom bouncing across the sand.

Yeah. And none of this soft stuff either. A white Feed Shallow or Mullet Zonk just don't do it for me anymore !!

The website says they are a freshwater lure but hell...why not...

Come on Pisc - what is it...?

You win Pisc, can't tell what it is unless it's distorted on the photo. Finish is very IMA though. It certainly hits my button more than a white feed shallow.

I've got a Roumba, perch colour. Piece of cake to use, keep the rod tip up and vary the retrieve and is does a very tight walk the dog, impossible to get wrong really. Stop start technique. Only used it in FW and caught a couple of small jack pike on it. It's got one of those annoying actions that I think pee off the fish more than attract them.

Also got a Popkey. This is great fun to twitch from standstill as it almost jumps out the water and does a dive under. Almost duck like, washing it's back. WTD easily too.
