Plugging marks near Portsmouth?

316 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  fair_weather_angler
Hi guys.

Gonna be staying near Portsmouth for a few days next week whilst the misses is on a course. Gonna have lots of time to kill during the day, and what better way to do it than fishing?

I tend to spend most of my time plugging, so would be very grateful if somebody could suggest a few spots that might be worth a try. I have absolutely no knowledge of the area, so will just be using google earth to make educated guesses otherwise. Only trouble with satelite pictures is that you cant always work out the topography and/or tell quite what the access is like.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Simon.

PS, I don't mind a 30-40 min drive, and I dont mind long walks to marks, either.

Anything is worth a go. I have quite light gear, so mackerel can be good fun.

Cheers.
