Had my 1st brief attempt this morning from 0600 along the hove/shoreham beaches. Tried a couple of spots. Nothing at first but half a dozen schoolies from the 2nd. Caught on all lures tried: popper, 9cm you zuri plug and a sliver. No fish over 1.5lb but a pleasant 2 hours non the less.

Had them across all the lures mentioned but as I said nothing big as yet. May have a look in the morning if I get up. Athough the tides are a bit small I would thing that there's still a chance - at 1st light especially. Tightlines evereyone !
