Hi,

I have recently got a small boat and would like to go fishing in the Plymouth Sound. I have never tried boat fishing and was wondering what I should do to catch some fish.

I will be fishing the hoe side of the breakwater, anyone got any tips on what fish I can catch and how to catch them

Do a search for plymouth angling clubs; or ask in clives tackle and bait on exeter street. Not been in there for a while now, but they always used to be very helpfull. They have plenty of local knowledge and would be able to point you in the right direction

thats if you can get near to the counter with all the hangers on drinking coffee all day lol,clive is a top bloke he will point u in the right direction neil and larks are the other ones to ask .
