Hello folks, I'm wanting to get back into sea fishing after a 8year absence. I used to fish back home in Ireland but I'm now living in the west midlands. I'm looking at doing some pollack fishing but living in the west midlands means I don't have a clue where to begin. Have rod will travel. Any advice and tips would be much appriciated. Travelling ain't a problem as long as I can get some half decent fishing in:roll1:

Alright there!,
firstly, welcome to the site. Hopefully you'll find it a useful resource and get some ggod catch reports up here of your own.
In terms of pollack, well, I've seen a few coming off the mumbles pier, but nothing of any size. There are plenty of deep water marks from the shore in Pembrokeshire, but I haven't fished there for a long time. But they look like they could produce. I'm just going off the fact that I had some from similar looking marks down the Cornish coast.
But, I expect someone on here will be able to give you some better details.
All the best,
DD
