we'll be down there by about then did any1 try float fishing a live joey or something then? Because i've been told they get some nice bass from down there? Are the gar fish there as well? I seen the fight that 1 gave marcus on a little spinning rod so i want to have a go at it!!!!!!!!

Yes mate, Had a load of macky and a Gar ysterday, loads always chasing the feathers in. Plenty of boys floating live mack for bass but didnt see anyone catch..be preared for a squeeze..
My advise..get there early and get right to the end on the RHS of pier and fish away..see how you go...Oh, and take a black sack..........

Good Luck

it was easy 30 people and more still coming when we left if i was you i would try to get there for about 3 hours before high water to get i decent spot and spread your gear around so people dont push themselves in the middle to get crossed

the barrel reef had a few problems with people crossing him

I had a similar problem off mumbles pier last year, float fishing near the end on the left, just because I was catching fish on the float, this guy decided to cast his set of feathers repeatedly by float, after I had cut his trace a few times, he soon got the message.

I might have an early session at the end of the West Pier on wed, get there for low tide (ish)!

What would be the best area the end fishing in or the last 1/3 fishing in??

Or where it dog-legs!??
