Nice day for it...

fished the harbour wall..(next to the boats)

6 doggies and 2 whiting :p (ALL returned alive)

Missed 2 Cracking bites though...

The bugger of it is,,i usually fish the stumps on the inner wall,
I saw a tidy blondie ray being pulled outta there..Was gonna fish there to,decided to try the harbour instead..Oh well..

lots of people fishing..Didnt see anything else of any interest being caught..

A very nice day though...warm and breezy...lovely :D

i noticed olot of lot from south wales (i'm up i abangor) were talking about the whiting being diseased, all the whiting i've caught recently have been really thin, even those which where sizable (probably a pound and half in the where in condition! onl twelve ounces now)
These had like sacks hanging from their gills, and what looked like worms with the, has anyone else noticed this? if so does anyone know what it is?

well,,i can only guess that its not the season for whiting now,,and the ones that are left are the hangers on,and the little ones and the old diseased ones..

But everyone i caught recently,,have been very poor indeed...either little babies,,oe extremely ill looking
