Really depends on where exactly you are based but heading West from Porth is Borth Y Gest (take the road in the middle of the high street and left at the top of the hill) A small muddy harbour with, at low water, an obvious channel to fish into. Flounder and schoolies. A little West below an old Pill Box. Take the obvious path and go down to a sandy bay with an obvious headland. Mullet love the rocks. Further on another small sandy bay with small island at far end - don't get caught there as tide comes in! Occasionaly school Bass to plugs etc. Mullet between island and shore. The bays are great family swim spots. The rest of the shore is again possible shows for schoolies. Soft sand. Absolute far end a great sandy headland BUT beware Jetskies as this a favourite spot for landing and starting! Sorry.

Cricceth definitely but Pwllheli best next to Gimlet like rock on end of beach behind RNLI hut near Yacht club. Take road towards sea from town and turn LEFT at roundabout, through housing estate then road has dunes on right and Yacht Club on left. Park up where road bends to left. Shore just up to left. Good luck!
Good tackle shop with bait and information in Pwllheli which is these days good for general shoppers (whilst you fish!)

If you turn RIGHT at roundabout right to end good parking and beach through dunes. Walk right at least 100yds small hooks long leaders for Black Bream and bass (so they say!!)
