I took the kayak out this morning off of Princes Parade. Water temperature was a surprising 57*F and once over 200 yards out the sea was summer clear. Several times my fish finder showed a shoal of fish in mid water passing under the kayak, even though it is late in the season I think they were probably Mackerel. The wind was NE and increased throughout the time I fished. I caught Dogfish, Whiting and Dabs but it was no where near as hectic as the same spot was last week, bites were hard to get and tentative.
