I thought i'd put up a post on behalf of forum member Callum Powell who had a lunker of a scad the other night. I assume he hasn't as he is a bit shy but he deserves a bit of praise for it! I'd have been shouting from the roof tops!
The Cornish record is 2lb 5oz (caught in 1977) and according to Striker-j, who Callum was with, this fish was well over 2 1/2lb. It's a shame neither had a decent camera or a decent set of scales with them.....pair of plonkers....but you had the fish and thats all that matters.
