Increasing the pitch by 1 inch reduces your engine revs by 200 as a rule of thumb
you are also reducing the diameter so this should increase the engine revs slightly. Best thing is to try it on the water. If your engine fails to reach the maximum rev range at wide open throttle the prop is not suitable.

At a guess the boat will be a bit slower with the new prop. Why not have the existing prop repaired? Keep the other one as a get you home spare.

What engine have you got a Merc or Suzuki?
