I have been using a neoprene stop on my pulley rigs about 3 inches before the pulley swivel to see if it increases my catch rate .
I am not the greatest sea angler but I havnt noticed a lot of difference apart from with small pouting and rocking etc
It seems that some anglers don't like the pulley rig because they feel it doesn't hook fish like a paternoster does ?
I was wondering if that's general experience ?
At the moment I am using pulleys of 18 inches lead snood , 14 inches hook snood
