I`m ok at pumping the smaller blow on Merseyside,but struggle to get the bigger Welsh lug,so i asked my mate Tim to knock up a video to show his technique.....he`s on an unfamiliar beach HERE but you can see how he does it ......digging in wet ground or shallow gullies can be difficult,but not so if you learn how to pump it.

I was told you can't pump blow lug but will give it a try after watching that, cheers.
I thought that also but it just takes practice to perfect the technique as I used to do it to add a few extra worms after a hard session on the black lugworm.

A good video and tip at the end.

Always intended to have a go but I need to acquire a good pump first. The old fork is still in the shed, but my enthusiasm for it has gone.:(

Tim tosses his worms in fine vermiculite at the end ....the very coarse stuff is what you`ll find ragworm kept in.
