Hi members,
Concidering it was a huge 8.0mtr tide this morning, the thought of fishing the flood was an absolute NO NO!!! So waited until midday and made my way down 3 hours into the ebb, hoping the run had eased.. and set up beneath the bridges..

Was using 2 small 9ft spinning rods with small leads. 1st had a 2 hook flapper with booms! And the other with a 2 hook wishbone... bait was razor! So i concentrated on the holding pools as the main run was still running strong!! Second cast "tap tap" flounder on..... and what a flounder it was.. All 2.5" of him!

So unhooked and returned him safely!! The following half hour was quiet.. then had another "tap tap" so struck and moments later landed another flounder... this 1 about 7". Again returned safely... packed up then and called time. Nice little hoyr out!! Cant wait for the flats to come back and start fattning up!!
Tight lines
Wrighty!
