I'm after some advise from regular beach anglers, I'm off beach fishing with my mate next week and he wants me to get his bait and being more of a boat angler I was wondering how much Ragworm I would need for a session, we plan to fish 3 hours up and an hour down.

Depends what rigs you're using (3 hook clipped/flappers, single hook rigs) etc but I'd personally take half a pound of ragworm for that length of session.

I will be using two rods each with a 2-hook Wishbone rig

If Rag is the only bait you'll be using then 150 medium sized worms each should be enough, That's what I used to take for a 6 hour Flounder session using 2 rods with 2 hooks on each .

I've decided on 1lb of Rag each, I would rather have too much than not enough.

That should be enough this time of year, I always buy more bait than I need, Id rather have too much than run out when the fish turn up .
