Any Raider owners out there who would help out with some issues?
I have an 18 with a 115 Johnson. Superb boat but would like to talk to other users.

Let me know

Cheers

Good to hear i'm not the only one!

Firstly you probably know Raider went bust last year but i hear they are starting up again soon building the boats in Poland.

Mine is a 1998 model i think with a 115 Johnson.

Secondly have you got voids under the deck floor ?
I have two small tanks by the seats and a large fuel tank further back in the middle of the deck. I know they could fit a stern drive outfit to this boat and i assume the tank was for this. Can we use the fuel tank for the outboard ??It would give us more room and trim the boat better.

Thirdly have you fitted any seating / storage etc to the main deck area as i have none and so there is nowhere to put all those bits and pieces - not even a cupholder.
I plan to board out the cabin also to make moving around in there easier.

Also looking for some rod holders which will require cutting some holes!

Look forward to hearing your news.

Cheers

Hi
freddie i have a 2000 model and a tohatso 90hp. and a large
under floor hatch.
i do know what it is for. could be for fuel storage or a fish hold
i all so have a bulk head fitted with a cabin door. plus transom door
i am looking for a set of bow rails
it will do 30 knots with 3 on board plus kit. i dont know if it is
possable to fit an inboard and leg at this stage. a mercrusier.
turbo diesl would be cool.
the stabilityand free board on this boat is the better than any boat
i have owned. nearly as good as a cat
under floor petrol tanks on a small boat i dont like if your were unlucky
to have a fire. at least you can ditch a potable tank.
ps. i think there is another raider owner on this form i think his name is Ian thank's dunc

A bow rail would be a good idea as the foredeck is NOT designed to be walked across!

Do you have a windscreen wiper fitted and if so can you give the the make type model etc as i definitely need to fit one asap.

I'll check out the Shetland rail.

Thanks guys

Any of the ancillary wiper motors will fit, they are adjustable for length of arm and blade size. But a marine type though as the mild steel used in vehicle wipers doesn't usually last the season out.

I pointed you to Shetland as the are still being manufactured and the after market SS fabricators will usually have a stock pattern for them as they have been around for so long. I have fitted a Shetland rail to both the 18 and the relatively new 16.
