Went down to collect some peelers yeasterday, managed bout 15 in an hour (not bad). Fished from low to 2hrs up had 2 strap congers on squid just left of the sewer, plenty of bites. Then went down by the barrage, fished it to high, had 1 flouder on crab and squid (1lb) and three greeny's (slimey sods). not bad plenty of action.

I didn't know they peeled this early in the year.
If you don't mind I wouldn't mind knowing where you collect them from? If you want to keep it to yourself No problem!
It's just that they are expensive to buy and sometimes difficult to get hold of fresh

Pottsy The barrage is cardiff bay on the penarth coastline side, either in the docking bay or channel side, you can't fish directly on the barrage though.

well done JD i cant believe i,m missing all this action , i got the sha sha shakes now havn,t been out for about 2 weeks now . Probably need casting lessons soon lol
