Steve and me fished Ravens point last night, it was a cracking sommer's evening for a change and we were pleasantly surprised to find the place empty when we got there

Sport wasn't spectacular but we caught a mixed bag including mackerel, doggies, poor cod, decent sized pouting

Strap conger

and one new species each for the year :clap2:

a tompot blenny for Steve

and a rock goby for me

Not the best session we've ever had at Ravens point but the lack of big fish was more than made up for by the lovely summer weather for a change :icecream:.

nice sunset and as you say just great to be out there on an evening like that,the good fish will come on some grey crappy rainy day as usual.

You're probably right there mate but on the bright side, with our luck with the weather that's probably the only decent summer's evening we'll get, so we could be in luck for something decent next time :laugh::laugh:.
