Hi Tangler,
I have the ds600x, same unit apart from the screen size. A great unit, but mine has been back to Raymarine for condensation problems. They carried out a mod and all's well now. The plugs on the unit are not the most robust, if you intend removing it from the boat after each trip, check these out first to see what you think. Check out this American site http://thehulltruth.com/category-view.asp. Allway's a lot of info on all boating stuf. I found out from here that the problem I had is very common with the ds600x. Have a look to see if any other probs have been found. All that apart, the screen can been veiwed in bright sunlight and works great straight out of the box. I have the transom mounted tranducer and works fine up to top speed (30mph)
Shows great detail of the bottom and individual fish. I would recomend it.

Hi there.
Wonder if anybody could help me out here. Got a new Garmin with
an in-hull transducer which have to be "bedded" in 3 M glue.
Question is, where do I get this 3M glue from ?? Tried surfing everywhere without luck.
