Heard recently that the rocks just to the left of Rest Bay are fishing well, turbot, whiting and schoolies, can anyone confirm this or is it another fishy tale. (Don't fancy humping the gear there if it is not true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

The best way to approach the rocks of rest bay are from the prom side.
If you park in the free zone and walk the trail which is in front of you .Its a bit of a trek but around 5/600 mtrs after you straighten up on the trail there's a a large sandy area which is around 100 mtrs wide and deep water on the mid and top tide ,avoid the flood as its possible to get trapped .
