Being born in Llandudno but living in Norfolk for 25 years I am returning to North Wales for a week's fishing.

Could anyone update me on any decent marks for bass or mackeral from the shore/rocks within an hours drive from Llandudno.

Regards

Any of the storm beaches from Rhyll to LLandudno are throwing up the odd silver mate, I'm sure one of the locals will be more specific though. Good luck.

Macky are about in numbers all over the Western rock marks of Anglesey, A few appearing off Llandudno Pier.

At the moment I'm having no luck tempting a Bass onto a hook, but almost anywhere along the North Coast should be producing in a surf.
