You not found any in the crouch .......ever ? I know a few people who have had plenty , I just been fishing since last May down here so hopefully this year I will bag oneDepends which river. I've not found any in the crouch yet.

thats what im using now in the 6 3/4oz no problems ive all ways done well on smaller neap tides 4.8 up to 5.3mtr southend tableFound a change of lead type rather than weight helps when it's on a big ebb. Namix shape but long thick wires defo better for me
wow, dogfish in the crouch, Ian normally when the tide rips through theres never anything doing for me anyways, never had a fish either side of high when its pulling. Im trying sandeel tommorrow see how that fairs, and old faithful lug, just any excuse to get out and fish really lol:laugh:Fished the crouch last sunday with just bluey, managed a couple of whiting, a dogfish (my first ever from the crouch) and a chubby little codling.
