Heard a lot about these and the oil, has anybody used them to good effect ?

Carp love Robin Red, especially from now onwards as the water temperatures start to drop a bit. They like a bit of spice in the colder months.

Not used the pellets or oil but it's one of, if not the, all time classic carp additives/attractors. I used to make and sell base mixes over 30 years ago and all, apart from golden/yellow birdfood and some HNV base mixes, had RR in them.

Goes really well with fishmeals.

I used to buy bird seed from a wholesaler. Much cheaper source if youre using it for boilies.

Same here Piker. I used to buy sack loads of different birdfoods and seeds from one. Robin Red is best bought in smaller quantities though as it is usually a bit damp and can go mouldy if left for too long.. found that out the hard way.
