Depends where you are mate, I do it & unless Im using bait I wont get anything. Last year it was Coley & Pollack, but then I wasnt out too much due to having an extra mouth to look after.

Its certainly good when you catch something as the conditions are usually horrible, rocks extremely slippy so it makes it all the more satisfying

ye as soon as i hit the post button it struck me that ill poberly get hit by a wave, or slip an then im off swimming in the sea.lol thanks mate

try rock marks around were you stay m8 for pollock and cod .etc

and if you have some nice beaches near you they will be worth a shout for flattys and you never no whatever else might turn up. it all depends on what the fishing is like anyother time were you live ..
