Hi new to all this, What would your go to lures be for small rockpools targeting the above? I know isome seems popular but it also seems pretty expensive on Ebay, So any other alternatives would be appreciated. TA.

Isomes are getting pricier than petrol, their about £7ish on ebay. But you can chop them into smaller bits so they do last a while. You'd happily spend twice that on a bag of fresh ragworm wouldn't you, so go on treat yourself, (just make sure it's pink or white)

The truth is mini species will snap at anything small. Bit once they realise it's not food they'll reject it. If the hook hasn't caught they won't return. With Isomes they'll come back for more bites. Have a look on agm discount they've got plenty of soft plastics to choose from.

Two small sps the blennies and scorpions seem to like are the herakles mini soft bait (top) and the hto stink pot (bottom). Both are strongly scented and come in small pots. The herakles has more action while the stink pot is more stiff and subtle so better for rockpools where fish are more cautious. Unlike the isome they won't dry out and are fairly tough so a pot lasts a long time. Both measures 4cm but can be trimmed down and work well drop spotted or on a small jighead
