He has a rod out witha normal tip and one for heavier ground, wonder if anyone has tried em.

About £80 so not going to be world beaters I suppose.

I have the Penn twin tip rod from when it was the V3 (Now called something else). I did hear a rumour that the RT was either a copy or the rejects from the same production line but this was just a rumour so doubt if its true.

There is a difference in the tips on the V3 but not so big that if I broke one tip I wouldn't use the other one for the same purpose.

One disadvantage of twin tip rods is when you take the rod out of the bag to fish with, you still have a tip in the bag so you need to find a place to put it so you don't tread on it.
