Hi lads and lasses
does anyone know where i can purchace a ron thompson rod without any reel seat or grip just a plain rod that you can add your own bits and pieces to i think its 13 foot 6 inches long

Is it a blank your looking for? ie. no rings,whipping, shrink wrap etc.(are you thinking of building your own custom rod) If so you may be well advised to contact Ron Thomson direct, i believe they trade under the Svenson sports banner.
The Axellerator i own is 13'6" as is rated to cast 4-8oz, it also came fitted with a sliding reel seat that can be positioned and locked to your preferred casting style ie, up or down the butt. To my knowledge these rods don't have a fixed reel seat factory fitted.
I hope this makes sense.
