i am going to be fishing in Samphire Hoe and have never been before so i was wondering what fish are around there.
I have herd that lots of people catch rockling but i dont know what a rockling looks like. if you can put a picture of one or give a website with rockling in it that would be very good!!!
i will be using mackerel, lug, squid ans maybe ragworm.

Beefcake be warned Samphire Hoe is very snaggy!

Take lots of spare weights with you - or try float fishing.

As for what you will catch - well expect nothing much this time of year,but you could get schoolies,yting,codling,wrasse etc.

i went down there and it was a total nightmare
i lost 3 weights and 3 good home made rigs and i didn't catch anything!!!!!!

if you think losing 3 weights is a nightmare you would need therapy if you fished the north east rock marks we take up to 20 weights and expect to lose the majority of them on some marks

there are loads of rock marks in the northeast of england i fish the ones in the marsden bay area of south shields there is an island called camels island in the bay that is very heavy ground fishing but it does produce good fish
