Here's a good web page I've come across with tips on fishing at Samphire Hoe.

Samphire Hoe

Parking is £1.00 per day
A rod ticket is £4.00 from memory
There a kiosk (with toilets) where you can buy tea, rolls etc.
You can get bait at Bill's Bait in Dover - I believe they're open to 1pm on Sunday but check. Their number is 01304 204542
The venue is very snaggy so take a few rigs.
It's open from 7.00am till dusk.

To get there go straight down the M20, stay on the A20, down to the first Dover roundabout, then back on yourself for about half a mile, then off to the left, and through the tunnel. The turnoff for the tunnel is not all that well signposted so keep your eyes peeled.

PS If you're taking the missus throw in plenty of warm clothing. If there's a bit of wind it can get pretty cold down there even if the sun is shining.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
