Fish Tail Magur Eel Fish always struggle with these little buggers! Had an hour today while in Cornwall for work (whish I had more time ) Fished a local Harbour near St Ives over lw , usual thing with the gobies plenty of bites while light, but faded fast after dark . Had a hand full of them a few black's and one or two of the attached.

opinions please on the species ,in the attached

According to "A field Guide to Marine Fishes of Wales & adjacent waters" Sand Goby has blue edged spot on posterior edge of first dorsal fin (in males and possibly females) whereas Common Goby's spot is not blue edged. In your photo it looks blue edged so I'd go with Sand Goby.
