Just aswell.. Nothing happening down Ogmore beach. Saw a few small flattie's being pulled in but that was it. I did see fish jumping though, I guess they were bass. Beggers were teasing us..

i came home with 6 mackeral for the missus to have for breakfast..caught on light tackle and a spinning rod,,beats heaving beachcasters with feathers on...good fight too...great fun

everyone had a fair share,of about 6ish....the place was packed out..

there as at least 30 anglers all crammed on the ledges..

Madness :cool:

I fished the pbble beach at the back of the car park there yesterday, loverly sunset, out of about 6 anglers there 1 silver eel was caught!

Yeah. Stunning sunset, Makes it worth while when the fishing is quiet. Did you see the fish jumping phil ?. I think they were bass, although I've been told they could be mullet.

Didnt see any jump where we were, it was nice and calm, between the 2 of us we were trying all distances, I had my bass rod close in and beachcaster as far as I could launch it!

Managed to get a couple of piccies on phone with the sunset though!
