WMAC have them for ÂŁ49. Are they reliable?
So So. I ordered some Savage Gear Jerk Minnows and some EWG hooks from them. The lures came within a couple of days but the hooks never did arrive. Rang them up and they said they werent in stock and were waiting to get them delivered. They never did turn up.They were only about ÂŁ1.50 so couldnt be bothered chasing them up.

Think they did the same to piscimaniac (who I also believe was one of the first to get the bushwacker)

I think all anyone needs to do, is give the shop a ring and check on stock before they order. I got mine the following day, as a result, from Cheshire Fishing.

All i can say is i'm glad i got mine when i did even if i paid more than some of you did
I handled both in the shop [Gary Evans Newport] who got them in for me to have a play with
i came out with the Boner and a few days later went back and bought the Bushwhacker
i still don't know which i prefure[spellin] they are both cracking rods and i am happy using both the Boner has the advantage that i can use it with 2oz of lead and a big bait the Bushwhacker has the advantage when using lighter lures
I would not worry about paying a few quid more for one just get them now as i feel the price may well go up very soon
Happy happy dai

The bushwhacker has already gone up twice, Dai, in the the last couple of months, so sod them is what I say. Back in Feb/March you could get them for ÂŁ50 and under delivered. Unless nobody can get stock (which is not the case) then products go down in price when there is high demand, not up. Because I'm a grumpy old git nowadays I object to paying the extra ÂŁ10-15 quid and having the p1ss taken.

Bah!

My Bushwacker and Shimano Exage 4000 has just arrived from
Chapman's 5 days to deliver and a free rucksack well done
to you Chapman's. Just make sure you phone your Order
and check they have the stock:victory:

Not quite.
In theory prices fall when supply exceeds demand and rise when demand exceeds supply. In this case supply is in excess of demand, but demand remains strong so the price will be whatever the market will bear.
In theory.

In practice however the rods will have gone up due to the weakness of Sterling, not in response to their popularity on here.
;)

Reckon these rods deserve their own forum! All down to Picsamaniac. Hope you get a good slice of the action mate, reckon you've increased sales no end!

Well I can only speak from my experience of IT and mobile telecom reselling and 9 times out of 10 prices go down when there is high demand and plenty of stock due to dealers and brokers scraping around for business.

I now zilch about the tackle game so will take your word for it.

They're made in Denmark apparently, the shop near me has been waiting for them for a fortnight, both the Boner and Bushwacker
Didn't know they were made in Denmark, I've just come back from 4 weeks there and all I can confirm is that prices have gone up 25% compared to last year (which was already expensive) due to the weekness of sterling which left me with very liitle spare cash to buy any treats. Went into Hunters house in Copenhagen and all I can say is it was the best stocked shop for lure fishing that I've ever seen, came back with some nice metal lures, sbirolinos, a range of mepps type spinners for perch and trout and a lovely prologic maria chase type lure which I unfortunately lost on its first outing while it was still a virgin :hammer: just wish I could have brought more but the country crippled me financially.

I heard on the grape vine that the UK distributor is out of stock and they are expecting some back in towards the end of the month.
Bushwhacker's are like hens teeth! Can't find em anywhere :hammer::crazy:

Got a Bushwhacker from HarrisSportmail, just last week. So they might have a few in stock??

Cheers Tunny
Sold out of the 8ft6" :(
