Hi
Considering having a go at LRF, and have been looking for a suitable rod. The Savage Gear Parabellum UL Ultra Light Rod 0-7g looks good to me but then what do I know. Has anybody used or have one of these? Recommended or not. I would probably be matching it up with an Exage 1000 reel.

Of course LRF fishing would be all well good if there were any marks around hence my second thread.

Cheers

Adie

Whats your budget Adie?

You could do a lot worse than speaking to a shop that supplies specialist gear and has personal experience in the lrf game.
Combo Kits
Budget is £60 - £70 but if I can extend the rod use to my perch fishing them maybe a little more - I'll just have wait a little to get it. Speaking with my local shops I get the feeling they are winging it a bit.
Cheers

I'd talk to Ben and Jo at the Art of Fishing personally, they have personal experience in light game and are the best lrf specialists in the country.
I'm not saying there aren't other good shops, but you may want to ask advice on technique and stuff too, you want someone who knows their *****.
