600 + fish caught yesterday, mostly cod and lythe to 8lb between the four boats. All the boats fished at Dunnet Head.

Not sure how long we'll be out today with this forecast but will be fishing the Holborn side.

Sounds like there's some fish around, were you down the west side or out of the head, or round brough bay, [probably all of the above].
Going by the forecast it going to get a blowy today!
Looking forward to getting back and having a go.

Not the best of days today, only fished for three hours as the wind backed round to the west and gained in strength.

Speed of the drift meant that the catches were well down on yesterday.

Overall results -

1st Jamie Smith - Shetland
2nd Willie Orrock - Inverness
3rd Scot Gibson - Glasgow

All fish apart from about a dozen were returned.

Nice to see the guys from the north doing well............adapting to the conditions or as some will no doubt say......lucky (again).
