picked up Ray at 8am, stopped for a very unhealthy breakfast in Newhaven (But tasty) and then off to Seaford beach, parked in buckle car park and walked to just beyond the sailing club, low tide, sea still coloured but calm, wind was bitterly cold, well at first nothing much happened apart from stripped hooks, surely to early for crabs - wrong there was plenty out there as we landed quite a few between us, as the tide picked up the crabs left the baits alone and the tings jumped on in numbers, double shots most of the time, nothing else for the rest of the day but tings oh and a couple of slimy critters.
At 4pm we called it a day, there was a few rods up the beach from us, not sure how they did, oh and no snags at all, cheers guys. Steve.
